Well, this isn't exactly the way Cheerilee would have liked to start off her weekend. Luckily, the comfort of her favorite apple whiskey makes the work a little less tedious.
Pencil/colored pencil sketch on paper. I don't think the dynamic lighting effect was entirely successful, but for a first attempt, I'm proud of it.

I love this. Cheerilee is my favorite and I imagine her having to resort to the bottle to get through some of those tougher days. And I think you did a good job on the lighting for your first try. Cheerilee's shadow is a great touch. Perhaps try darkening whatever the light doesn't touch even more, especially the background.
